Nigel and Jan both struggled to get ahead, with Nigel remaining just behind throughout, Jan coming out 600 ahead as the bar closed leaving nige a tricky double into the 200 to keep his chances alive but felled the black in trying.
Mike got the break back early and a steady 4k break put paid to Darren's aspirations tonight.
Another each way bet with Sandy gradually increasing his small lead on Ric, but a timely 1.5k break and run out saw Ric snatch an unlikely victory from the again dejected Sandy.
Colin opened with 5k and tuck to give Richard a mountain to climb on a very awkward glynde top tonight another 3.5k sealed the game and left the school poo 're 2-2 leaving a cliffhanger decider with Chris needing to leave 1 up for the 100 shot winner but it was not to be.
