I confirm the above is correct
Colin opened and missed the split, leaving Dave what felt like hundreds of chances to catch up but Dave spent the whole game making nice breaks but contriving to lose them so a lucky win for Colin.
Bob opened up a 3k lead early on with Nigel taking time to get used to the tricky Star top when away from the break leaving Bob to end up 5k ahead a nice 3k from Nigel with time running out helped but he ran out of time.
Chris missed the 1 up leaving peter to open up a small lead, neither player managed to master the table from then on and the result was unsure until the bar fall with Peter on a small break.
Tony and Mike had similar troubles off break and another nail biter was on the cards Mike opened up a 1k lead that was gradually eroded by Tony with 460 points required with the last red, he almost made it.
sandy left the 1 up short giving Phil an opportunity to extend his lead but his efforts were all dashed by the table, while sandy got the talling break back a few times which was enough to take the scalp of the out of form Phil and the Match.
Nice pizzas as every from the Star and a good natured match with our old Eastbourne and Hastings team mates [Colin Southouse]
