Nigel was in the groove tonight with a 2k,5k and 3k on his way to a nice 1st 10k score for glynde.Alec 4 timed on a nice break which cost the 2nd gameSandy found the going difficult tonight gifting Andy his opportunities though they were well taken to secure the 3rd gameChris again played well taken the net game of the match, Richard played aggressively causing too many pegs of various colours to fall, Chris was again well on his way to the 2nd 10k of the night but sadly the bar just beet him, ( he was also on a promise of a kiss from his adoring captain should he have made the milestone, there was an outside chance that this may have had a greater effect than anticipated)Peter opened with 700 Colin replied with 2.8k, scores were shared for a while and a 3k lead opened up for the home team but some nice recovery breaks bought Peter right back into the game and was chasing down the total as the bar came down leaving Peter 800 behind with all balls remaining, luckily for the home team it was a bridge too far.The table was markedly better than last week, thank the BB lord!
