Well done to Lana who torpedoed the hope of the gusts making it a lot more tricky (favorite word) for the visitors, nigel came off earlier than expected giving bob his only chance to make amends but a tricky shot behind the left 30 forced an error felling the right hand peg, Mike tried to be generous to the sudbury mauler leaving the opening break short on both balls but luckily for us chelle was unable to make a reasonable counter leaving Mike to clear up and make a winning break, Jack had a few chances early on with Colin taking a while to get the break back but made sure once he did leaving a decider for ozzie and silent to battle out, a welcome opening break of 10k from our Hastings hero left Matt with no chance, thanks to our No 1 for waiting patiently for a lift while the No4 was in deep discussion with our No 3 regarding the weekends events! and was half way to Brighton before realising that someone was missing, compounded by leaving my mobile at work,,, again [Colin Southouse]
